Strong Tea

Welcome to Strong Tea, the love child of two women who just LOVE to chat. Katie & Vikki love chatting so much that they wanted to turn those chats into a platform to help others, to open up the conversation on difficult to talk about topics, taboo subjects and things that people shy away from openly discussing.

Trigger Warning: This episode contains details of death, the moments of death, cancer, and grief.
For some, the thought of losing a parent is unimaginable, even though it is considered the order of life. But what happens when we do? How does it feel? What if we are there when they die?
In this episode Katie talks to Eva, our wonderful guest who returns for this episode, and to our very own Vikki about the experiences of their mums' deaths.
We explore anticipatory grief, relationships, legacy, and the change that happens after death. This is a beautiful episode that is sad, hopeful, funny, and most of all, loving.

Dylan was born in the early 90s and always felt like he was born into the wrong body, always desperate to be the Disney prince and not the princess, his journey began from day dot. Fast forward 28 years and Dylan is living as a trans man and living his absolute best life.
This podcast is emotional, insightful and wonderfully honest, Dylan talks about his journey of self discovery, physical dysphoria and coming out to his friends and family.
